I have been sporadically reading Women & Money: Owning the Power to Control Your Destiny by Suze Orman. The book, written in 2007, talks about the female approach to money, which is something you all know I am interested in. I wish I read it back in 2007 because, while the information is great, our current economic status as a nation is not the same. Regardless, I believe she presents excellent examples of ways women don’t protect themselves financially. Today’s question of the day… Do you have a savings account that is “completely separate from any other account shared with a spouse, partner, parent, child, etc.?” My lesson starts with this question, as we begin a financial empowerment series that will span through August.
Do you have this type of savings?
