Stacks for Good Acts
Today is special for so many reasons. It’s our launch date, it’s Fat Tuesday, and… it’s National Pancake Day!!! That’s right; our very first Eat on the Cheap series shows you how to eat for free- well sort of. From 7:00 am- 10:00 pm, you can receive one complimentary short stack from IHOP. In return for free flapjacks, they are asking you to consider leaving a little something behind for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals and other designated local charities. Since 2006, IHOP has raised $5.35 million dollars for Children’s Miracle Network and local charities near you and given away more than 10.1 million buttermilk pancakes. Last year, they raised $2.1 million dollars. This year the goal is $2.3 million dollars. So what are you waiting for? Just remember, this offer is valid for dine-in guest only and there is a limit of one free short stack per guest.
Are you planning on celebrating National Pancake Day? If so, please let us know. Take pictures of you and your short stack for a chance to be featured on She Makes Cents.
