I’m the kind of girl who will burst out laughing in dead silence at something that happened yesterday…lol, seriously. I’m a twenty-something from Atlanta, Georgia with more passions than you can imagine. I love reading, writing, dancing/choreographing, home décor and design, music, shopping, meeting new people, social media, crossing things off my bucket list, mentoring, and of course saving money. I believe one should not have to sacrifice a quality lifestyle because of lack of resources and that is just one reason I decided to start she makes cents. I am an English (Pre-Law) major from Spelman College who walked away from a budding career in law to focus on my passion and interest for Social Media and Communications. There is power in the written word and I aspire to use this power to help others. You see, there are moments in your life that make you and set the course of who you are going to be. Sometimes they are little subtle moments. Sometimes they are big moments you never saw coming. Whether or not you want change, as Sam Cooke says, “Change gone come”. It’s what you do afterwards that counts. That’s when you find out who you are…
