- Do your research. There are only two ways in which you can purchase a car from Craigslist-- dealer or owner. Anything else is a scam!
- If a deal seems too good to be true, it probably is.
- Know the fair market value for the item you are trying to purchase. Just because it's on Craigslist doesn't mean that you won't find anything comparable for less somewhere else.
