It’s Operation Wedding time here at the She Makes Cents headquarters (aka my home office). This weekend my sister is getting married. Please stay tuned for a Wedding version of Buy v. DIY. I would give you a little sneak peek, but that will reveal aspects of the wedding. For the next few days, postings could be few as we prepare for the Wedding and the introduction of a few guest writers and SMC’s first intern!!!
What did you DIY for your wedding?
I DIY’d my own wedding cake, flowers, invites, and programs! I had tons of fun, but I wouldn’t recommend doing all of those by yourself unless you have extensive education in Design and Cake Decorating, a lot of time to dedicate to research, and a naturally crafty mom and mother-in-law to throw in tips along the way (I did). Also, practice makes perfect, so practice your wedding DIY projects beforehand. Way, way beforehand!
